About Kitt
Trauma-Informed Reiki Master · About Kitt & How to Get in Touch

A trauma-informed Reiki Master & Intuitive Guide for the woman who feels everything.
I’m Kitt. I understand what you’re going through because I’ve lived a version of it.
For most of my life, I absorbed the emotions of everyone around me and didn’t know that’s what was happening. I’d leave coffee with a friend and feel exhausted for three days. I had symptoms doctors couldn’t explain. I thought something was fundamentally wrong with me.
Turns out there wasn’t anything wrong with me. I’m empathic. And I had survived enough that my boundaries were about as protective as wet tissue paper.
That changed everything.
For the last fifteen years, I’ve trained, studied, and built a practice that meets people where they actually are. I’m a certified Reiki Master Teacher, an intuitive guide, a trained somatic and breathwork practitioner, and a sound therapy facilitator. I work with hypnosis, herbs, and energy alongside trauma-informed care. None of these tools sit in isolation, they weave together to create a kind of healing that traditional approaches rarely deliver on their own.
My Work Brings Together
- Energy healing: Usui Reiki Master & Teacher, with Akashic Records reading and intuitive guidance woven in
- Trauma-informed practice: nervous system literacy, somatic awareness, and consent-based work that meets you where you actually are, not where wellness culture pretends you are
- Body-based modalities: breathwork, yin yoga, and somatic practices to help you actually live in your body again
- Sound therapy: singing bowls, sound baths, and vibrational healing using tuning forks, as part of one-on-one sessions and group offerings
- Hypnosis & subconscious work: gently and safely, with appropriate measures in place, to access what your conscious mind hasn’t been able to reach
- Plant medicine wisdom: herbalism and aromatherapy supporting the work where appropriate
- Lived experience: as an empath in recovery from a life that taught me to disappear
What I don’t Believe:
I don’t believe you need to be fixed. I don’t believe your sensitivity is a problem to manage. I don’t believe healing is something you can manifest in 30 days if you just buy the right course.
What I Do Belive:
You need someone who actually understands what’s happening in your body. You need trauma-informed tools that hold up in real life. You need permission to stop apologizing for feeling things. And you need a guide who can help you build the kind of boundaries that don’t require you to become a smaller person.
My clients are women in their 30s through 50s who:
- Work in helping professions, or have been the “therapist friend” for as long as they can remember
- Have survived things their bodies still remember, even when they feel their minds have moved on
- Are done playing small to protect their energy
- Are ready to take their lives back
If any of that lands with you, I’d love to meet you.
Training & Qualifications
The work I do today is built on years of study, certification, and continued training. Each credential changed how I show up, and several of them are still actively shaping where my practice is going.
Trauma Informed Foundation & Body Based Practices
Hospital Advocate Training
Safe Alliance Austin
Completed the 40-hour Core Advocate Training and Direct Service Volunteer Training at Safe Alliance Austin, serving survivors of child abuse, sexual assault, exploitation, and domestic violence. I served as a hospital advocate during that time. I’m not currently in that role, but the training began my deep research into how trauma lives in the body. That foundation shapes everything I do now.
Integrative SOmatic Training
The Embody Lab (Currently Enrolled, 2027
Currently enrolled in The Embody Lab’s Integrative Somatic Training program, with expected completion in 2027. The program goes deep on the intersection of somatic practice, parts work, and trauma resolution. It’s the most ambitious training I’ve taken on, and it’s making me a better practitioner every week I’m in it.
Breathwork | Somatic | Yin Yoga Training
Loka Yoga School, Bali
Certified in breathwork and yin yoga through Loka Yoga School in Bali, with somatic training woven into both. Yogic breathwork can feel challenging for people who have experienced trauma. Somatic practices first help the client feel a sense of safety. Yin yoga supports the fascia, the connective tissue believed to be the energetic superhighway of the body.
Energy Healing
Reiki I, II Master/Teacher
Usui Reiki with Robyn Schultze
I started Reiki after a session with a practitioner here in Austin who showed me what energy healing could actually do. I went on to certify through all three levels of Usui Reiki, including the Master/Teacher level, the highest certification in this lineage. My sessions often weave in Akashic Records reading and intuitive guidance.
Intuitive Hypnosis Practice
Trained in Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, and developed my own practice modifications to allow safe remote sessions. Cannon’s work has shaped my hypnosis technique, but the official lineage doesn’t permit remote work. After significant research, I developed my own practice that lets clients access past lives and connect with the subconscious mind safely, with appropriate measures in place, from wherever they are.
Sound Bath Facilitatior
Rainbow Sounds
I use sound therapy in my one-on-one sessions, and I also play sound baths around Austin regularly. Sound is one of the fastest, most direct ways to shift the nervous system into a state where healing can happen.
Grounding & Earth Based Practices
Certified Herbalist & Aromatherapist
Heart of Herbs Herbal School
I started learning about herbs and aromatherapy in 2020 and fell deeply for the way plants work in the body. Herbs and essential oils show up in my practice as supportive tools, not replacements for medical care, but allies in the broader work.
Permaculture Design
AUstin Permaculture Guild
My herbal work led me toward learning how to actually care for the land. Permaculture taught me to think in systems and ecosystems, which has shaped how I think about a person’s nervous system, energy field, and relationships, too. Everything is in relationship with everything else.
